My grandpa, Ramón Gómez, worked in Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. My grandpa died of colon cancer, a radiogenic cancer, before I was born. We believe his cancer was caused by his work at Los Alamos. His brothers who also worked in Los Alamos died of cancer; his siblings who never worked there never developed cancer.
